No, you won't have a new game in the Monument Valley series just yet but you can relieve the best moments of this cherished mobile classic with the just released soundtrack for its expansion, Forgotten Shores, right now on iTunes for £7.99.

The game might be awfully gorgeous but it's minimalist and refreshing soundtrack was also one of the main selling point of the experience for me so I'm glad I can give it a listen whenever I need to.

If you want to take a listen before buying, you can still head over to Soundcloud and let your ears bathe in musical paradise. You can also get the music in Vinyl.

The long walk to the Point on that clear, beguiling evening along the red harbor road was very pleasant. Then the sun dropped down behind the western hills into some valley that must have been full of lost sunsets, and at the same instant the big light flashed out on the white tower of the point.

Apple Arcade has been out in the wild for a few months now, where its playable library now sits at over 100 total games. Previously it was only available on a rolling £4.99 a month subscription, however As reported by MacRumours earlier today, that has now changed with the addition of a yearly plan.

This new subscription option is available at £49.99 or your regional equivalent, allowing you to pay for 12 months upfront. This would save you a grand total of £9.98 over a year, which isn't a huge saving honestly. But if you're an avid fan of Apple Arcade and can't see yourself wanting to unsubscribe anytime soon, this way will save you a few pennies.

If you're interested in switching to this price plan - or maybe you want to cancel your current subscription – but aren't sure how it's fairly simple. Start by tapping settings, then click on your profile, which is found at the top of the settings menu on iPhone or the top left if you're an iPad user. This brings up everything to do with your Apple account.

The fourth option down in this sub-menu will say Subscriptions and tapping that will bring up a list of any Apple services you subscribe to currently or have in the past. From there choose Apple Arcade and you'll see the different options available to you.

Personally, I'm not sure how many people will want to switch to this model. In my opinion, the best approach to Apple Arcade at the moment is to buy a monthly subscription whenever enough new games you're interested in are added and then cancelling after you've completed them. But, it's always nice to have more options for those that want them.

For more details about the plethora of games that are currently available for Apple Arcade, check out our dedicated hub page for the latest releases and thoughts on its ever-growing library.
Vote for YOUR Game of the Year in the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2020

We all know that if it isn't broken it doesn't need fixing. However, bug fixes aside, sometimes a good ol' update is exactly what you need to keep things fresh as a daisy.

This week there's a good, long list featuring new content, some iPhone X support, and even a sad piece of news, so let's take a look at what's occurring. Candy Crush Soda Saga
Platform: iOS/Android
This one won't exactly take you by surprise since King updates the game weekly with new levels, but keep on diving into the match-three game with 15 new challenges, new characters, and features.
Draconius GOPlatform: iOS/Android
If you've been enjoying battling dragons thus far, you're about to get even more to play around with as more creatures have been added to the Bestiary. On a side-note, the descriptions of items/texts have also been improved upon.
Galaxy on Fire 3Platform: iOS (also on Android)
Version 1.6.11 lets you tackle the first five bosses even if you aren't strong enough. Whether you're feeling like you want the extra challenge or just love to push yourself, now you've got the option.
Grand Battle Royale: Pixel WarPlatform: iOS/Android
There's a roster of new features added this time around. As well as a brand new map, the game now has 'evening' lighting, a UI redesign for battles, a 'play with a friend' feature, and new skins and other cosmetics.
Harvest LandPlatform: iOS/Android
Take part in competitions between clans in the new Dragon Race and perform special tasks to get rewards. iPhone X is also now supported.
Heroes InfinityPlatform: iOS/Android
It's not a massive update, but you do have a couple of new features to get involved in - Colony and new Passives to face - as well as the usual round of bug fixing.
PAKO 2Platform: iOS/Android
This one's a two-piece. On iOS you've got a new map (Sunny Coast) and three new cars (Leguan, Wolf, and Fox). On Android the game has been fully released, so it's time to get driving like an arcade fiend.
PukkPlatform: iOS (also on Android)
Keeping this one short and sweet, Spring is in the air in Pukk, but at least the ice isn't melting too quickly.
Shooty SkiesPlatform: iOS/Android
Easter may be over, but spring is only just beginning and the Easter Bunny isn't done just yet. Meet Cross Buns, Carob Bunny, the goddess of dawn, Eostre, plus a couple more pilots.
Simon's Cat - Crunch TimePlatform: iOS/Android
Enjoy new 'Country Fair' levels, more daily events, gameplay balance, bug fixes, and plenty more map animations for you to spot throughout the game.
Sonic Forces: Speed BattlePlatform: iOS/Android
Missions have just been added into the fray - complete these bad boys and get extra rewards. There are also two new tracks to play, new music for the Mystic Jungle Zone, and massive performance tweaks.
Tales of the RaysPlatform: iOS/Android
Though several features were added, including Mirrage Weapons and Shadow Battles, Bandai Namco announced that Tales of the Rays is shutting down at the end of May. Mirrogems will be available to use until the last moment, so enjoy it while you can.
Top Gear: Road TripPlatform: iOS/Android
Coming straight from the TV show, it's time for the Stig to get behind the wheel of the fastest tractor in the world. Harvest vegetables as fast as you can with the beastly 500hp monster tractor.
Unknown Royal BattlePlatform: iOS/Android
You've got a handful of new items to play around with this time. As well as getting your hands on an AK-15, you've got a new armour tier (4), new skin, chat in the battle search screen, and general fixes.

"Anne, dearie, I'd a letter from Owen Ford yesterday. He's in Vancouver just now, but he wants to know if I can board him for a month later on. YOU know what that means. Well, I hope we're doing right."

Updated on February 8th, at 5:07: Alone or with a friend, you can now attempt to survive the mirrored stages of Narcissus, out now on the App Store.Narcissus features 50 levels of frantic dual-person platforming and can be downloaded for free, with a £1.99 / $1.99 in-app purchase to remove ads.

Narcissus is a two-player co-operative platformer, coming to iOS next week.

Narcissus is a side-scrolling platformer in which you control both figures on the screen at the same time (here's where the dual-player comes in useful). Of course, you don't have to play with two players, you can still just tackle it singularly, but it's nice to have the tag-in option.

If it looks familiar to you, our long-term Pocket Gamer fans, we actually did a preview of the game back in 2014. That was before its colours had a bit of a re-vamp, however, and the game is certainly looking rather pretty.

Give the video a watch and you can probably see where the challenge sets in if you got at it alone. It reminds me a little of Nidhogg in its style, and gives the game an effective but unburdened design.

Narcissus is slated to launch on the 9th February on iOS, with Android coming sometime thereafter.

Earlier this year Pixel Pajama Studios released their first game, Astral Defense. Now they're back with another shoot 'em up, this time though they've dived into the ocean with that genre in their latest game, Sonar Smash. There's no definite release date for Sonar Smash just yet, we only know that it's expected to arrive in early 2020. When it does decide to surface though it will be available for both iOS and Android.

Sonar Smash sees you playing as a ridiculously cute dolphin blasting away various underwater creatures. It's been described by Derek Sonnenburg – one of the co-founders of Pixel Pajama Studios – as 'like some super advanced endless dolphin Galaga in your pocket'.

That doesn't mean the dolphin has laser eyes or is part cybernetic though unless that happens after a few upgrades. You'll be destroying the various enemy pufferfish, clams and starfish using your amped up sonar abilities, essentially vanquishing your foes with sound.

There are seven different sonar abilities in total. This can be the standard blasts that look a bit like the Wi-Fi signal strength indicator, shields to protect yourself from enemy damaged and a different projectile variant that can pass through enemies to deal damage to multiple foes at once.
Download 死亡防御破解版(mod) MOD (High Damage) v1.3.2 (MOD, Unlocked All Pack/No Watermark)
